What part of my project can Sullivan’s Custom Cabinets handle? We can help you design a functional, beautiful layout for your space. We then build the cabinetry and, if you wish, pre-finish the cabinetry to your specifications. As a custom cabinet shop, we can build virtually anything you can dream of! We’re also one of the only cabinet shops in town capable of finishing our cabinetry in-house. If you need assistance installing the cabinetry, we can coordinate that as well. As to all the other aspects of your remodel – builders, interior designers, stone countertops, backsplashes, flooring, electrical, etc. – we’re happy to refer you to one of our many partners in the Tulsa area.

At what point in the home building or remodeling process should I start designing my cabinets? We suggest that you allow us to be a part of the design process as early as possible. The design of your cabinetry can affect where your walls, plumbing, and even electrical outlets and fixtures should go. The sooner that we can be part of the process, the better. We work hand-in-hand with your builder and other tradesmen to help ensure everything is laid out correctly upfront so the finished product is not only beautiful, but functional as well.

How long does it take to get my cabinets? This is the most frequent question we are asked, and it all depends on your job. Average lead times vary from 3 – 4 weeks for unfinished cabinets and 6 – 8 weeks for prefinished cabinets. This is all subject to change depending on our workload.

What are the latest trends in cabinetry?~ In wood, white oak and walnut are very popular right now. ~ As to design, we’re seeing a lot of clean, straight lines. A true contemporary design might be too much for your taste, but we can make a more traditional design look more current by using frameless construction or by doing flush-inset doors and drawers. ~ In hardware, brushed gold is the standout right now. We’re still seeing a lot of matte-black as well. ~ For finishes, in 2019, we saw a lot of painted cabinets - particularly in various shades of blues and greens. For 2020, we’re seeing a move back towards stained cabinetry. And, white has never gone out of style!

Do you only work with builders? Not at all! While it is true that we have built strong relationships with many architects, builders and interior designers, we love working with individual homeowners, too! We pride ourselves in being able to fit the needs of every budget.

Do I need a design before I meet with you?You absolutely can, but it's not a necessity. We have designers on our team who have over 50 years of combined experience. We can work with you to come up with a design to fit your needs and budget.
